This ceiling fan remote control kit works for most 110V 3-speeds AC ceiling fans, compatible with Hampton Bay, Hunter, and Harbor Breeze fans, and works with almost all 3-speed ceiling fans such as Home Decorators Collection, Honeywell, Minka Aire, and many more. The remote controller is designed for 3-speed ceiling fans to separately control your ceiling fan speed and light on/off. Note that this item does not include a 9V battery, and our products are regular original OEM products with reliable quality. Please note that this remote control is not recommended for use with a hugger-style ceiling fan.
The input voltage is 110-120V, the AC Frequency is 50/60Hz, the Transmission Mode is Radio Frequency (RF), the Radio Frequency Band is 303.9MHz, and the Remote Control Range is 60 ft. Setting up the remote control is easy, as it has 16 different frequencies that can be set for the receiver and the transmitter, with the default setting being 0000, which is not recommended. If you have a pull-chain switch, use it to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on before using the wireless remote control. If you have multiple ceiling fans in your home, ensure that the PIN code settings are different between them to avoid unintentional activation.
Installing the remote control kit is straightforward. First, remove the ceiling fan canopy from the mounting bracket and disconnect the existing wiring between the ceiling fan and the supply in the electrical junction box. Then, set the same codes on the remote control and receiver, ensuring that the code used by the transmitter and receiver is exactly the same. Install the receiver in the ceiling fan, making the necessary wiring connections as per the included instructions. Finally, install a 9V battery (not included) in the remote, and you can now control your fan.
